Good quote. Let’s add that sex is after marriage, and thus children are after marriage. The idea of “maybe or maybe not” togetherness is infiltrating our lives everywhere, especially tv. I can’t even watch my favorite home and garden television shows without being constantly bombarded with co-habitation. It is a shame i have to give up my only source of media entertainment so that my children are de-sensitized to the co-habitation movement.

Fred Barnes has the correct wait and see approach. I am a little skeptical of Dr. Dobson becasue we are hearing from him that is personal conversations with unnamed sources that she is a good choice. I have no disrespect for Dr. Bobson, but I would like these sources to go public with their praises. I want to hear it directly from them.

I share Sen. Brownback’s healthy skepticism about the nomination. I want to know what her philosphy is on the law. Does President Bush have so much faith in her because they have discussed difficult issues of constitutional law or is it about her being a cose confidante? I am also more unsure becasue she has no record that I can read and evaluate. I like having the paper trail.

He passed up good conservative judges like Karen Williams and Priscilla Owen for someone that we are not sure of her conservatism. I am disappointed by this.

I thought these references to religion were completely inappropriate there is supposed to be no religious litmus test for goverment office.

Religion and a persons faith or heart should not be questioned during these hearings. The questions need to focus on the Constitution, judicial philosophy and the rule of law.
